Best Beauty Trick I've Learned

Always take your makeup off at the end of the day, no matter how long your day has been, or how tired you are! It makes such a difference when trying to better your overall skin health.

My Holy Grail Skincare Product Is

A chemical exfoliator! The Glycolic Creme from a Natural Difference and the Clarity Serum from Fresh Faced Skincare help keep my skin in check.

Current Beauty/Trend I'm Loving

I love a fresh faced glam, so liquid/creme highlighter has become my go-to! I use it on the highest points of my face, but you can also use it as a primer or base for your makeup for an all over glow.

My Most Regrettable Beauty Faux Pas

I would probably have to go with the overplucked brows trend. It’s a miracle mine grew back!

Who Inspires Me

My parents. They have always shown me the most unwavering support and positivity. Leaving a traditional college to follow my dream of a career in the beauty industry wasn’t easy, but they have always pushed me to live out my passion and stood by me 100%. I’m so grateful for the relationship that I share with them both and all that they’ve taught me.

I Am Passionate About

All things beauty. I would love to know how much time I’ve spent watching YouTube videos learning different tips and tricks. I’ve self-taught myself just about everything I know about makeup, and it’s something that I can talk about all day. I’m always practicing in my free time, or learning new things. And it’s what made me fall in love with this industry.

What Challenges Me

I think the most challenging aspect of my journey so far was worrying what people would think when I decided to make this my career. I was 18 when I decided to go this route, and it was scary for me at first. All of my friends were taking the more traditional route, and I worried a lot about not having the security of a normal career. One day, it just hit me, and I realized that I was doing this for me and no one else. And that more than anything, I was excited for my future. I know I can do anything I put my mind to, and sometimes I have to remind myself of just that. Nothing is too far out of reach!

One Thing I Really Want to Learn Is

Eyebrow threading! I’ve always had a knack for brow shaping, and threading is a skill that I would love to master.

My Favorite Client Moment Is

I would have to say that the reactions to the before-and-afters that clients get to see are some of my favorite moments. There is nothing more special than making others feel beautiful, and it is a huge part of why I’m in the field that I’m in. It’s an amazing feeling to see the genuine joy when a client sees their results. After all, it’s why we do what we do!
